TSSbadge3This week has been filled with all of the usual stuff and any extra time I’ve had I’ve tried to read, read, read.  I finally completed the Cozy Mystery Challenge.   The R.I.P. IV Challenge deadline is October 31st and I’ve got three more books to read for that.  I’m not sure I’ll be able to make it since I’ve got two Halloween blog parties I’m participating in in October and my son and I are going to build a shrine for Dia de Bloglandia and the Auction to Benefit Oaxaca Street Children.  In addition to those activities, we’re also planning our annual Halloween party AND I need to prepare for NaNoWriMo!!  Have I lost my mind???!!  How could I forget?  I also want to read two of the three books I chose for the HerStories Memoir Challenge 2.  Somebody stop me!

My reading and writing goals for this week:

  1. Finish reading Kitty and the Midnight Hour by Carrie Vaughn.
  2. Finish reading Life is a Verb:  37 Days to Wake Up, Be Mindful, and Live Intentionally by Patti Digh.
  3. Write reviews for each book.
  4. Start drawing out plans for our Dia de Bloglandia shrine.
  5. Flesh out a few Halloween story ideas.
  6. Anything else I forgot.

I hope your week ahead is a little less frantic than mine looks to be.  Happy Sunday and have a beautiful week!

  1. There ought not be any reading pressure. Some months I read like crazy and some I simply can’t. Thats ok with me. As long as I can write poetry, nothing else matters much.

May you achieve all your goals for October.

I also wish you all the best with your goals for October. Also, I really like the design of your site.
