Believe it or not, this was another week of no book purchases. Now, don’t get me wrong. I would have no problem selecting several books to add to my collection, but I grabbed a few magazines instead. As usual, my choices reflect my interest in writing, art, creativity, and Halloween!!
After deciding I was NOT going to participating in NaNoWriMo this year due to too many commitments, I promptly changed my mind thanks to a writing buddy request from Hybrid D and a few story ideas that have been stewing. How in the world am I going to meet my book challenge requirements and write 50,000 words in November? October promises to be a very full month so it’s not like I can double up my reading efforts then. What’s an insane person to do? I hate to fail or drop out of the challenges but in the end I might need to do just that. We’ll see what happens in the next few weeks and go from there.
This past week held a bout of the stomach cruds, an emotional rollercoaster ride with my son, and a day of feeling like an empty shell of a human. This morning felt like a fresh dewy start after a particularly nasty storm. Here’s to a much brighter week ahead.
P.S. Have you heard about the Peace Party being held tomorrow? It’s all about the International Day of Peace. You’re invited, so no need to crash. See you there!
