Sweet Soliloquies

It’s National Read a Book Day!  Are you celebrating?

As for me, I finished up The Sandman Vol. 9: The Kindly Ones by Neil Gaiman.  I cannot write a review for this yet but must let it marinate, and even then, when I’ve had time to feel and remember the stories that came before, I’m not sure if I can do it justice.  I’m feeling a bit like Matthew the Raven, not yet ready to accept and move on.  Give me time and we’ll see if words will come.

As I’m so late in posting today, I’ll keep it short and just list my books goals for this week:

1. Read The Sandman Vol. 10: The Wake.
2. Read Ghastly Glass (Renaissance Faire Mystery) by Joyce and Jim Lavene for the Cozy Mystery Challenge.
3. Finally, finish and post my review for Vanished (Greywalker, Book 4) by Kat Richardson.
4. Decide whether or not I will continue participating in a current group blog.
5. Make time for writing poetry.
6. Read, read, read!
