What do you wish to make room for?
I can answer that question immediately. No need to ponder. I wish to make room for confidence and direction. It is one thing to know in your head that you are capable of something; far different to know it in your heart.
The saying goes that “practice makes perfect,” and while perfection is no longer my goal, doing something well enough to have confidence in my ability definitely is one. This is where direction comes in. The desire is there, the latent talent is hopefully returning, but in what direction do I turn?
I wish and pray for the correct path to reveal itself. I promise to do my part in following it (practice). My hope is that my confidence will return and grow as I continue to follow said path.
I’m not so concerned about the destination right now, just the journey.
