Our wishcasting hostess Jamie asks today:

What do you wish to remember?

It wouldn’t be completely accurate to say my husband and I are techies.  We don’t always have to have the most up to date gadgets (well, accept for my husband when it comes to Sony!), and we don’t attend too many Cons, but we do love new ideas, future-thinking and the Internet world.  In fact, that’s how we met.  But we both come from simpler times and I wish to remember those times, keep them in my heart, so I can try to bring the calm, and wonder and joy I felt way back then into today and tomorrow.

(An added note:  My son has lost two grandparents to Alzheimers; one on his father’s side, one on mine.  For myself, but most especially for him, I simply wish to remember.)

Oh, this one made me cry…I’m so afraid of losing my memories and reckonings…so I want you to remember always. I want that, too.

As Pamela so wishes for herself, I lovingly and with intention wish for her also.

Here’s to remembering everything and forgetting only when it’s the right thing to do.

P.S. I like this jazzy, newsy look of yours.

I can just see you sitting in the grass in your big hat now!

(Alzheimers in my family too, it’s heartbreaking to watch and terrifying to think may happen to you or others. Let me add a wish that they find a cure very very soon.)

    Hi Pamela,

I too enjoy my memories of calmer times. How lovely your wish is, to simply remember. Our memories are undervalued for sure. Peaceful watercolor. May your wish come true for you!

As you, Pamela, wish for yourself, I wholeheartedly wish for you as well. I wish we never forget those days when everything was oh so mellow and seemingly easy like Sunday mornings. And may you always have fond memories to share with your son. Blessings to you and yours….Cordieb.
