Maybe the funk hasn’t completely gone away…
I’m looking forward to the busy weekend of family, friends and my son’s open house. There’s so much left to do before then! I’m also looking forward to the anticipated peace to follow…
I’ve been a very bad girl when it comes to visiting my lovely friend’s blogs and commenting on them. I’ve barely turned on the laptop this last week but plan to get back to my regular blog visits next week. Please forgive my absence.
I hope to participate in Wishcasting Wednesday and put up a Poetry Play Thursday prompt but we’ll see what happens. Ack! Just breathe…
Have a beautiful week!

TGIF friends! Today:
I am trusting that we will survive the economic crisis that is becoming more personal every day. As we reign in spending and cut costs here and there, help us to release unhealthy obsessions and desires and find peace and freedom in a simpler life.
I am grateful for my friends who help keep me sane when teetering on the edge from too much stress. Laughter is definitely the best medicine!
I am inspired my son’s love of dancing. I share this love and at one time entertained the idea of making it a profession. What a wonderful way to have fun, express yourself and exercise your body! We will dance even more in my home and why not shuffle our feet and jiggle our hips at the grocery store, baseball game or even at work? Let’s share our inner music and spread some joy! Who cares if we receive laughter (see grateful above)!

My artist feature of Camille Boggs is up at Texty Ladies! Hers is an amazing talent and she shares about her childhood, the materials and processes she uses, what happens when things go wrong, and more! I do hope you’ll check it out!

On another note, I was unable to participate in Wishcasting Wednesday yesterday and feel, hmmmm, I guess bereft would be the word, like all my friends got together for our weekly coffee klatsch and spiritual retreat and I was forced to miss it. Well, I guess that really is what happened!
Jamie’s question was, “Who or what do you wish to play with?” My answer would be: I wish to jump on my magenta colored bike with the banana seat covered in 60s’s style daisies, bike down to the park and meet up with all my Wishcasting friends. Our younger selves wouldn’t have to tap into our inner child because we’d already be there and we’d run and play and create stuff with twigs and leaves and make flower wreathes for our hair and dance and sing holding hands and wish to our hearts content! We’d have so much fun that when it was time to return to our current selves, our memories of the day would help us find the freedom to wish for anything we desire!
